Don't Worry Child
I was 3 years old
I had nightmares for weeks
About a monster
Trying to get me
My dad keep saying
It’s going to be ok
Don’t Worry Child
I was 5 years old
First day of kindergarten
I came home crying
I said Daddy the kids
At school are mean
He said it’s ok
Beautiful
Don’t Worry Child
I was 9 years old
I found my dad crying
Three days later
He died
My mom said
Don’t Worry Baby
It’s going to be ok
I was 14 years old
I had enough
I woke up in the hospital
Screaming
Crying
It was 3 a.m.
I didn’t know where
I was
The nurse came in
And said
Don’t you Worry Child
I’m still 14
And I still worry
Every day that
I won’t be here the
Next day
