Have you ever loved someone
That loved somebody else?
Have you been broken hearted
And put up on the shelf?
Have you ever been so hurt
That you cry yourself to sleep?
Or ever been so angry
That you cut until you bleed?
Have you ever been sad
That you shut out the whole world?
Have you ever been so scared
How fast the thoughts in your head swirled?
Have you ever been so scared to live, yet so afraid to die?
The struggles you face everyday just to make it through alive
Well let me tell you, my friend,
I know its hard, but stay alive,
Because what makes us who we are is determined by how we survive
