Seashell
Seashell
Shut in,
Beautiful and majestic,
Yet subtle and well hidden.
Sandy and rough on the outside,
But once opened,
Soft and smooth on the inside.
A jewel upon the sand,
That neither sparkles nor shines,
But it’s unique elegance
Makes it nothing less than a treasure.
Like a tiny fragment,
Of the heart of the sea,
It embodies grace and magnificence,
While creating an illusion of intricate detail.
It is like a person,
Though it may be similar to others,
One will never find an exact replica,
As it is rare and special.
If you listen well,
You will hear it singing,
A serene, breath-taking note.
