When you died,
I died,
I couldn’t bare to not,
See your face.
We were like two,
Peas in a pod.
Inseparable.
My whole life,
Stopped.
Even the trees,
Stopped moving,
And their leaves,
Stopped whistling.
Grandpa this flower is for you,
For I can’t stand,
To be here without,
You.

I wrote this piece because when my grandpa had passed away, it felt like a piece of me had gone with him. My heart just wouldn't feel the same without him here.
