The Space Between Us
  The two of us
  Are like two celestial figures
Moving around each other in orbit
  Always spinning
  Spiraling
  Closer and closer
  Always missing
  Never quite understanding each other
  The two of us
  Are like two celestial figures
  Moving around each other
  In an orbital rotation
  Going through the motions
  But still
  Never touching.
  The other night I realized
  The stars are millions
  Billions
  Trillions
  Of light years apart,
  Celestial figures
  Which never quite touch
  Always missing
  Never quite
  Understanding
  And still,
  The space between them
  Super secedes perfection
  Allowing for the reflection
  Of  starshine.
