Death's Symphony
The flames of hell submerge me from making such a choice
And screams fill my lungs, as breathing burns my voice
Gnashing my teeth as this pain overwhelms my soul,
The flames devour my heart and fill my skull
Is this what I get for the choices that I’ve made;
That the screams of hell aren’t yet paid?
I’m smothered in this agony that I just can’t bear
God, I scream for you to wake me from this nightmare
People around me weep bitterly in sorrow filled torment
Repenting in cries, and unnatural resentment
I lift my eyes above me, from this place where I am bound
I see the paradise heaven, but I hear no glorious sound
I will forever be in this place, begging for mercy
I will be pleading for help, but I know I’m unworthy
No one will ever be able to fathom, or even tell
The horrors of this place of which they call Hell
