The Child of Avalon
Low, where not any animals go
There lies a cradle near a small sea.
  The child of avalon sleeps,
  An infant at least,
Without a care in the world.
  Battles have been won,
  Battles have been lost,
  Still,
  The child of Avalon sleeps.
  A great king has fallen
  As have many tears,
  Still,
  the child of Avalon sleeps.
  The villain victorious
  Hears the sadness and screams,
  Still
  The child of Avalon sleeps.
  The Wizard comes down,
  Rousing the once dead king,
  Still,
  the child of Avalon sleeps.
  The king awakens,
  as a young boy,
No longer does the child of Avalon sleep.
