The season of autumn

used to mean

back to school clothes

halloween candy

the beauty of fallen leaves

 

but now when i think of autumn

i think of you and me

This poem reminds me of Taylor Swift's "Back to December," the way she tracks their relationship through the seasons. I like the way you used your lines and stanzas to set up an expectation... and then twist it around entirely.
