"Tu Sei Il Vero Fallimento!"
“Tu sei il vero fallimento!”
That’s what he tells me…
The worst voice inside my head.
It screams above all others.
It silences them like students in a class.
Though he wishes not to teach,
But to speak.
In his deep raspy, guttural shrieking voice,
He takes in a deep breath to scream,
With each comes a new ach in the front of my mind.
It refuses to leave, despite my attempts to remove it.
It is confident I shall give in.
“Tu sei il vero fallimento!”
He screams again.
This time louder than any voice I have ever heard.
It strikes me with a bolt of pain.
As if I have just fallen onto a million shards of glass.
His words glow against my eyelids like the sun of a hot summer day.
“Tu sei il vero fallimento!”
His words are more than true.
He says to me again calmly:
“You are the true failure"
