Alone in the dark, no sound but my heart.
I hear it throbbing in my ears,
I hear it pumping cause my fears.
In total black I cannot see,
In total black I wish to flee.
I feel the cloth beneath my feet,
I feel nothing but my gentle sheet.
Its just a nightmare I tell myself,
Its just a nightmare I repeat.
Ans slowly I put myself back to sleep,
Alone in the dark, no sound but my heart.
