Love... Feel... Treble.....
A treble of the soul
I sway in my seat…
A light shines not unto me, but around me…
My chest, so hollow but yet so full…
So warm & light…
Like not the pull of base…
But the sigh of a treble….
A sound so radiant, I cannot hope to compare…
To a summer’s day or a winter’s chill….
So full of like, so full of will…
My blood pumps fast…
My heart beats slow…
As violins & trumpet bounce to & fro…
Within the place my heart calls home…
A tap or a nod…
And the faintest roar of applause…
Tis not because the audience is scarce…
But the treble of this soul lifts me into the air…
A reed a horn & the keys I hold…
The world is gone for this moment alone…
No sight, no scent, yet alive with tone…
What can you see & what can you feel?
What can you hear? Does it even seem real?
When our dreams take shape they hardly ever do…
But tears of joy I’ll cry for you…
Into my reed...
I give you salute…
So that my treble, may find you
Keep your music in your soul…
And never
Ever
Let it go

this peice describes the physical & emotional impact of well played music & the feeling I get when I play music (tenor sax). I love the sound of classical & jazz rather than modern peices riddle with bass, because the treble in my ears make my heart beat slow but I fell like i'm moving a mile a minute & going nowhere at the same time. it's so etherial & I love it soooo much.
