You make me laugh
with your jokes that make no sense
even when you're hurting
And we don't know if you'll make it through
you always watch over me
When you give me a scare
and it doesn't look pretty
You always know the words to say
to make me feel safe
You fight a battle
with a strong heart
and wise mind
never letting your pain show through
You are a brave cowboy
