Friends
  Friends may grow apart
  By distance or time
  But they will always live
In the hearts of one another
  Friends may be harsh
They can reduce you to nothing
  To shards of insignificance
But they will always be there
To help you pick up the broken pieces
  Friends may break your heart
Turn back on everything you built together
  But they will always remember
And they will weep like you did
  Friends may forget about you
  Never return a text
  But they will never forget
The love, the pain, the memories
  Friends may change
  May become a stranger
But they will always mirror you
  On the inside,
When you feel like your friends
  Don’t care anymore
  You are mistaken
Do not rush to break the bond
For if you break the bond
  Your heart will be empty
No one will help you pick up the pieces
  No one will remember
  So, forgive and move on
Because good friends are hard to find
And don’t throw away your diamond
Because you see a little scratch
From: a Person Who Realized This
  Too Late
