Childhood Dream
A being that inhabits us all
A seemingly endless dream
And the ends abruptly
Stopping in the tracks of regularity
Forcing dreamers to stop dreaming
Forcing us to focus
You don't believe that yet
You will
You'll fall into that trap
And believe that this path is incorrect
But this path is correct
Don't you see
We are immortal
Deep down in the heart
Of childhood
Remember the games you had played
Remember the laughter you had
Remember the friendships you had shared
Childhood is a world that is perfect
Ignorence is the darkness
Ignore those individuals
Life is too short
To just stop enjoying it
Childhood is a pure creature
Childhood is a beutiful dream
Adulthood is a gut-wrenching nightmare
But it can be reversed
When the purity of childhood
Is darkened by an aching pain
Caused by those individuals
That believe childhood should end
