Mothers and Sons
Mothers and sons, what a beautiful bond
It is special, remains unchanged by time or distance
The relationship between a mother and son
Is one of an intriguing, yet cool, design
She watches him grow up and mature
She smiles at what he becomes
She molds him into a Godly young man
Who serves his Father, and those he loves
She protects him no matter the cost
And his appreciation is his thank you
She might embarrass him, but he still laughs
Cause it’s an obvious sign that she cares
He smiles when his mother is happy
He enjoys the love in her warm embrace
Her heart breaks if something’s wrong
She cries knowing he’s hurt in some way
He remembers her words of love and truth
And acknowledges her heart of pure gold
They may argue over different things
But their relationship stays the same
He may mess up, but she loves him regardless
Her forgiving nature reminds him of their bond
She holds his hand for a while
But holds his heart for a lifetime
She will cherish him no matter the cost
And he will always have her in his heart
Even when he’s old and frail
He will always have mom on his mind
Years may go by, but nothing will change
A mother’s love for her son will remain the same
Because there will never be anything as special
As the bond between a mother and her son
