Free Verse Gray
Never that of newsprint or plain truth;
Never one to be stated in an opinion;
Yet it increases its opacity with exploration;
And upon isolation's newspaper is nonexistent.
Results from a well-mixed palette;
Assorted agreement and conflict.
Never complimentary or analogous;
Never contradictory or conflicting;
Never a simple truth.
Truer than the unblemished palette;
Rarely a truth does not ride its spectrum;
For everything is a shade of gray.
