Destined, They Say
March 22, 2015
Loved what I hated,
And people said that it was fated,
That my destiny was set,
Only waiting to be met.
I didn't believe them though,
Told myself it wasn't so.
Destiny is for the hopeful, I said.
For those that dreamed all day till their head hit the bed.
I saw what lay ahead of me.
It was more than I had hoped it be.
More than I had time to see.
Part of something bigger than me.
