You Are
They say your personality defines you.
The way you walk, the way you speak,
the way you dress, the thoughts you have.
To me, this is like saying a good dictionary
is one where the words are defined
in several different languages.
Judging a person based solely upon
the characteristic qualities they possess
is like experimenting with no control.
Not everyone has been exposed to
the same teachings or cultural atmosphere.
Your personality is only but
a by-product of these incidental things.
Only the things we are all exposed to in the same way
are sufficient enough to judge one's definition.
Because we have all seen fear and love and hate,
one's response to circumstance is the only test
that can most accurately define them.
A person is not a few adjectives
but a result of life.
