All Things Must End
When I was younger
I believed nothing came
to an end.
As I got older
I started to see
that everyone was leaving me.
Being alone
is never fun, just sitting by yourself
until the day is done.
Getting lost
in your own thought to the point
where you can't think anymore.
Tears flow
majority of your time
spent awake.
Life's hard,
they all say, but you know
it's more than that.
It's tears,
fears,
scars.
But then,
you open your eyes,
look in the mirror.
See nothing,
but broken beauty,
and you ponder.
How something so beautiful could come to an end.
