The guitar begins its journey
The way notes dance from the amp
The guitar screams out in sorrow
Expressing its soul vibrating through the strings.
The guitar expresses its loneliness and despair
The feeling of sorrow and heartache screams from note to note
The guitar is set away, crying out for a companion
Packaged up in a dark, tight case.
The guitar sits and waits
for the next time to cry.
