The spiteful temptation

What can taint the purest of people?
It’s the root of all evils created.
The sworn enemy of my lords steeple,
leaves many a mad men devastated.
Money is your obvious dull answer,
hiding in plain sight from day to day.
It is thin and green and made of paper,
if you have a job just open your wallet.
Depreciation is what money brings.
It turns people against one another,
demoralizes us like we were animals.
Some give up everything just to have it.
If you don't understand it is cash.
Money,cash,bread whatever floats your boat.
