Why must we all be labeled by colors?
Black. Yellow. Brown. White.
Colors are just color.
People are just people.
Why can’t we get along.
Like in a painting, there are many colors.
There are not many paintings that just have one color.
And when the colors are together.
They make something beautiful.

Summer

Summer is when the bees and birds are out,
When the flowers are out in full bloom.
Summer is when school days are gone and the long lazy days are here,
and when you listen you can hear cries of joy from children.
Summer is when you can sit outside and eat a cold tasty treat,
or just sleep the hours away.

Fall

Falling leaves indicate that summer is over,
and that the cold winter nights will shortly be coming.
When you trade in your flip flops and shorts,
for a coat and think warm clothes, you know,
That Fall is here
