The beauty from within
doesn’t wait for time.
There is no switch for on or off but rather
a lovely hum that ceases to falter
day or night.
It buzzes lightly
speaking of the inner sunshine
bursting from within,
begging to return to its cherished home.
Exposing its beauty in one blinding flash
it dashes for the eyes of the
lover nearby.
There it finds its fluffy bed covered in
soft blankets and a faint scent of sweet roses
patiently waiting for his love to return.
The heart buzzes,
pounding faster with each passing moment of restful sleep
starting a tirade of passion seen through the now glimmering eyes
with traces of warmth and love for all the world to see.
There lies not just the outer wonders of the smiling face
but the beauty that started from within.
