I have witnessed many things.

Empires: reduced to rubble.
Obliterated in a split second

With the slightest
Wave
Of
    My hand.

Standing fortresses
I have torn apart
Brick
By
Brick.

I am unstoppable.

I weave a tapestry
Of happenings.
A painted portrait of life
And Death.

They curse me
They love me
They accept me
And then they Die.

I cannot go away.

I am the beginning
And the end.
Your most terrifying nightmare
And your loveliest daydream.

Wish as you might,
I remain infinite.

I am Time.

The author's comments:

Time has always fascinated me.  Everything that goes on in the world, all the horrible, horrible events and beautiful moments of joy - none of it matters in the life of Time.  It never slows, nor stops to dwindle from its path.  Tick by tick it progresses forward, the most powerful dimension of all.

The pulse of the poem captures the essence of the poem nicely. Imagery is also well executed.
