My Grandmother, Omi.

I see my Omi
Her eyes bright blue and full of life
I tell her she'll be okay
She smiles.
She gives me strength, I think of her
My grandmother, oh! What an other-worldly person.
So giving, pure, and so so young.
How I miss her, my heart aches.
But I knew it was time,
Every breath laboured and painful
She takes one last breath and dives into oblivion.
