Shattered Mirrors
Please God, don’t let me be trapped in a world of perfect bodies and good-looks
Where everything is luscious lips and models strutting down the red carpet
And it is hopeless to try and achieve the elegance of movie stars
I want to live in a world of internal beauty, where looks come from the heart
Where nothing is weight-watched and girls not having the confidence in themselves
Don’t let me crash into the cracks of my shattered mirror
I want to
Find myself
Fix my shattered mirror
Follow the path You’ve given me
Like a herd of sheep trailing the shepherd
Let me know that beauty isn’t only external
Let me look in the mirror, the unbroken mirror, and know that I have been created in Your image
