Belonging
His skin's too dark and his hair too long
All he wants is to belong
But his eyes are too green and his lips too pale
His arms and legs are way too frail
His friends are limited to very few
His eyes are dim and his clothes aren't new
He cries himself to sleep at night
But knowing his dreams and wishes are right
He knows one day he will belong
And now the other kids are wrong
