Ravens
I am the Raven
soft as moonlight
Still as paper
Following starlight
I am darkness
I am the quaking
Of the quivering aspens
In North wind shaking
And I will never drown again
I am the Raven
Shedding darkness off my wings
I leave a train of
Spark behind
I am the night-bird
Made of shadows, made of snow
I am the mountain
Beaten down
I am the child
A tiny crown, a little king
I see the brightness
In everything
I was the weak one
Each day you made me weaker still
I am a fighter
You made me one
Still you held me
Chained me, wet my wings
Till I was liftted
On the summer breeze
I am the Raven
I was born to fly
For I am the Raven
Soft as moonlight
Still as paper
Following starlight
I am darkness
I am the quiet tears
Of hidden children
And their hidden fears
I will find a way to fly
I am the hero
A feather floating on the wind
I show the way for
The cursed blind
I am the strong one
Yet still I found I could not fly
He is the one who
Gave me wings
Now I am flying
Calling to the Ravens
We will come, a
Storm of wasted ribbons
I am the Raven
And I will return again
For I am the Raven
Soft as moonlight
Still as paper
Following starlight
I am darkness
Past the horizon
A white tree turned black
Suddenly rising
A cloud of ravens
A twisted stream of lives
I will always fly away
