Divided
I feel my future calling me
From the fine line between death and eternity,
To fear its presence lingering
Waiting for both me and me.
I feel myself divided between here and there,
A side split between itself and restless air.
I want to run, but am not sure where
I’d go to hide from all I need, all I want.
I want to see all that is underneath from above,
Before lisped lies find my insecurities
And I'm just another form against
The lifeless light.
