More Than A Coach

I was scared at first,
Trying something new.
Maybe this was a bad idea.
I had no idea what I was doing!
Then she took me in,
Made me feel like family
Like I was a friend
She made me feel like I belonged
Always wanting to see the nice smile on her face
After a hard day I would be happy to practice
When we had our take down,
I was heartbroken.
Maybe it happened because friends fight.
Thank you for teaching me
Thank you for coaching me
Thank you for being my friend.
