Night Poem
“For God’s sake where is God?”
And from within me, I heard a voice answer:
“Where He is? This is where- hanging here from this gallows.”(Wiesel xx)
Where is God?
God is nowhere to be found
All hope is lost
since God is not with us:
the people who believe in Him
God is being hung
We are watching as He
struggles to stay alive
We all lose hope as God is dying
at our feet
God can no longer help us
He is gone
What is the point of living now?
There is none

This piece of poetry is my reactions and thoughts through the perspective of someone in a concentration camp. My inspiration was from the book Night by Elie Wiesel.
