The Show
There is a metal show tonight
I am excited
pumped
I drank a full Ubermonster
my mom would kill me
I wore a shirt against dress code
Im changing my jeans
my mom would kill me
I am excited
pumped
the show is after school
no time to see my friends
Im going with my best friend
we are metalheads
with strict parents
we look up to them
they are metalheads
they are wise
the show tonight will make me tired
I wont be home until midnight
small venue, loud music, sugar rush, headbanging
I care more about the concert
than I care about school
I may have an addiction
to the adrenaline in me
but I'm going to the show tonight
with school eight hours later
my insomnia will control me
I probably wont sleep
but I'm going to the show tonight
to keep my sanity
