A Person Called Student
Here
I stand
Watching the greeneries
White buildings
Symbol of determination and
An effort of a person called a student
At this distance
The memories of my past flash through my mind
My hard and painful times
I face in faith
To be here in Tunku Kurshiah College
With the oil lamp as my companion
The darkness of night, whisper the crickets
I try not to doze off
All of this just for knowledge
As friends without my side
Blurred by richnest, world and fame
Without worrying about the future
The absence of me
Only helping mum
For a plate of rice to continue living
Although misery and suffer felt like covering me
Although I felt it is hard to breath for a while
Although I want to vanish from this cruel world
But I will keep standing
Standing steady with full confidence
