The choice
Up to the individual
To say as we think
To speak up
To speak out
To vote
To elect
To change
Our own destiny
The notion of freedom
We praise it
Love it
Rejoice with it
But think
Just think
If it was pure
Pure freedom
The choice to act freely
The choice to kill
The choice to rob
Lie, cheat
Blackmail, bribe
The choice to control others
And take their freedom
And so we find ourselves
In a loop,
If you give true freedom,
To anyone,
You take it all away,
But if you don't give enough,
You release ,
A dangerous need for freedom
This is why no system can ever work
We see the United States as a success
But we allow the choice of murder to mothers of the unborn
We allow rapist to go uncaught
We allow important people more freedom
We take the freedoms of immigrants
‘Every man is created equal’
Is our motto
But what we really mean is
Anyone who has american citizenship,
Is created equal
But the U.S.A is one of many
Greece, allows too much freedom
As a result
Taxes go unpaid
China, allows not enough
Citizens are constantly monitored
Children can’t be born without permission
We all have problems that we can’t fix
So I conclude
By simply saying
There is no right answer
People aren't perfect
We can’t provide the perfect amount of freedom
