They only fly from mouth to mouth
No ears
No brains
Just teeth and cold opinion
I don’t listen to the words anymore
The ones that make my sister cry
The ramblings
On and on
They speak only to lifeless eyes
I don’t listen to the words anymore
The ones that beat like battle scars
Pounding on my heart
Whispering
Your wings are cut and your feet are cold
