He walks in my dreams
strolling between
my imagination
and my desperate screams.
Sometimes I’ll tell him to go;
I don’t want him there
(just like he didn’t want me)
and he wraps his arms around me,
whispers,
“no.
I will never leave you”
the sweet nothings he told
and the lies he sold
in my ears
ringing when I wake up

Just a bit I wrote on how I still dream about one of my exes, pretty sure there's a few people out there that can relate.
