10 Things to Remember About Being Depressed
1. If you're going to cry, cry in the shower. That way no one will hear you.
2. Sleeping is the only way you won’t feel the pain.
3.Press cold spoons against your eyes to take away the puffiness and swelling.
4.Whenever you start to feel like breaking down, pinch yourself, hard. It distracts you.
5.Practice your fake smile in the mirror so that no one will ask questions.
6.Watch Disney movies while you fall asleep so you don’t have to feel so empty.
7.When your mom asks how your day was, tell her it was okay, and that you didn’t have to run in gym today. That way she feels like she's helping.
8.Dogs make everything better.
9.So do candles and soft blankets.
10.When someone tells you to snap out of it, or stop being sad, remember that you don’t have to justify your feelings to anyone.
