His/Mine
His eyes so different from mine
Mine clear blue lakes
and stormy gray
His deep oceans
Drowning me
More and more
Everyday
His skin so different from mine
Mine cold as ice
and warm inside
His warm caramel tan
Melting my ice
More and More
Everyday
His soul so different from mine
Mine blackened in life
and death within sight
His strong and bright
Burning the dark
More and more
Everday
Our lives so different
We run the race away
Split and cracked down the middle
Until we cannot survive
So on my bed I lie
Hoping
One Day
Our paths collide

I actually had this piece come to me in a dream, the next day I put the pen to the paper. The last three lines are a complete retelling from dream.
