I will have to leave,

Friends,
Family,
Possibilities.

All to pursue what,
Greater and grander ambitions?
A chance to roam the world?
A chance to discover new things?

Struggling with the fear of change,
Struggling to hold heads high,
As I will be forced to walk away.

Forced to walk away and discover a new way of life,
While still trying to discover myself.

Trying to find the feeling that someone else understands,
The feeling that someone else is right there with me,
Helping explain things that I can’t.

I am afraid of change,
Afraid of losing people,
Afraid of losing a perfect life.

But when I stop to think about it,
I realize that change is needed to answer my questions.

Because right now I’m stuck between,
Who I am,
Who I want to be,
And who I should be.
