Protector Of My Heart
The man who always saved my heart
He knew I was doomed from the start
The burden of all the words to come
He knew they'd make me feel so numb
All my battles won by him
Every bullet he took in
I sat out and watched the sight
As he never lost a fight
His heart grew heavy
So I became ready
As I knew the wars were coming
I knew that he would be displeased
To see the bullets come for me
I sit still and wait to bleed
I close my eyes and start waiting
A bullet never hit me once
I opened my eyes to see him in front
He stood strong
And saved my heart
