Ive tatsted the salt of my own tears
Felt the coldness of my own touch
There was no one else afterall
The gut wrenching hate directed inward
The only helping hand I received in defense was my own
You've never tasted the bitter sweet darkness
Swarming in the bottomless hell that envelops the soul
And leaves you constantly on the brink of death yet still barely breathing
You've never felt that unless you truly were alone in your life
What I fear is not death, she is a welcomed solace to the pain, who seems to follow my tail.
My true fear is to return to the total isolation. In the midst of blinding night as I struggle forth through the shadows darkness. What lies in the shadows aren't the monsters that frightened us as children, what lies hidden there is ourselves, the truly frightening monsters are the ones we find within the depths of our twisted minds. Those demons that whisper enticingly dark thoughts to us, they'll consume us until the person who looks back at you in the mirror is unrecognizable.
