R.I.P Grandpa
The croaky, joyful laugh rings in my ears,
in my head,
In my eyes I see him sitting back with relief.
Hopefully, regret is no one’s good friend.
The lame jokes appear in my heart time to time,
I constantly smell the BBQ aroma,
The intention of love from good heart wraps around me.
Helplessness drowns, murders even the strongest.
I smile,
I can laugh carelessly like a newborn child.
We will all move forward
With knowledge, love, and compassion from a great man.
The suddenness of death still lingers like the tears on my cheeks.
