Synagogue
Breathe life into the black and white dreams.
Crashing into my being without warning.
Forced to obey a God
made of black blood and wooden skin.
A heart constructed by us all.
Creams of writer wannabees,
lay down and submit to this god.
Worship his religion for every book is his bible.
Building broken temples,
constructed by wishful thinking
and a little substance assistance.
Help—
this god has enslaved me
in my own mind and pen.
