Passing Hours

Tick tock goes the clock.
It ticks and chimes as the hours go by
I’ve never once seen it stop
And I’d rather it stay that way
The swinging pendulum
A pleasant sight
Watching it fly
As the hours chime on
And when the hand strikes twelve
I must say farewell
But I don’t worry
For I know the clock ticks on.
