broke, shattering,
lives turning back
into broken pieces
of us
We both
cried, hiding,
time ticking away
from our days
and hours
We both
ran, escaping,
forgetting the world
that we both
left behind
We both
drowned, sinking
into our despair,
giving up
at last
So
the difference
