Invisible Pain
Can they see me?
All the pain felt from hearing their words,
wounding my soul like a gunshot to my mind,
my hands tied by them with no escape.
Can they hear me?
All the tears shed,
my silent calls for them to stop,
my ears hearing the depression sinking in.
Can they feel sorrow?
All wound free burying the hatchet,
changed into what they wanted,
happier but still empty.
Do they feel better?
All healed,
finally happy,
are they still empty bringing others down or did they find happiness like me?
