Silence
Silenced
“Agh”. I yelled as I fell to the ground grabbing my chest
I knew I was experiencing my last moments.
My thoughts wandered from topic to topic,
Regretting how I never got life alert,
“Damn you interest rates!”. I shook my fist in the air.
Thoughts swung side by side of death and the federal banking system.
“Why… now, I never got to do my free zumba class.”
My end was near and I accepted my last moments.
I looked over and stared deeply into a pic of my grand kids
Whispered my last word, along with the one last tear streaming down my face. “Disappointments.”
