A beautiful tragedy
A beautiful tragedy is before us
 People struggle just to survive
In this world of an eye for an eye
 We are becoming blind
We forget to love each other
 And even ourselves
Because we forget silence is humanity
 And darkness comes before light
It has become so easy to label people foe and fiend
But what about people needing to be seen?
Hatred and heartache are shown constantly
And we've come to believe that those different are bad
And escaping reality is the newest goal
 We all need a reminder
Beauty can be found in the darkest of times
When our voices have been stolen
And claimed by those battled against
 Pause for a moment
And let the truth sink in
We battle wars against our brothers
 And quickly forget each other
 There is a solution…
 No need to do this
 Learn to love thy neighbor
 And expect no other favor

I was inspired by this quote: "There's beauty in everything-even silence and pain."
