I am a frayed ribbon
once beautiful and majestic
the favored one
wearing thinner everyday
soon to be unwoven
string by string
even though I get worn down
I am still used
everyday
fraying at the ends
falling apart
then thrown away
getting used till I'm gone
then...
I'm forgotten
