A Day in School
I wake up to go to school everyday
I just wish it would pay.
I start the day with band
That teacher is one funny man.
I go to the shop with Milt
And avoid the end of the hammer’s hilt.
Once I get to Comp
I just feel like I’m swamped.
As I go to my government classes
They go as slow as molasses.
As we hit the climax of lunch
I get to release my hunch.
As my day concludes with math
I listen to my teacher’s sass.
At the end of each and every day
I go to sleep to do it all the same way
